JAKARTADAILY.ID – Minister of Tourism Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno said that the World Conference on Creative Economy (WCCE) which was held on 5-7 October 2022 in Bali produced a creative economy roadmap for global economic recovery called the "Bali Creative Economy Roadmap."
Minister of Tourism Sandiaga Uno during a press conference at the WCCE Bali International Convention Center (BICC)-Westin, Nusa Dua, Bali, Thursday, October 6, 2022, explaining that the creative economy sector will become the backbone of the Indonesian economy, as well as one of the efforts to generate economic growth after the pandemic.
"The Bali Roadmap is a document agreed upon by the WCCE delegates as a roadmap for economic revival, where the creative economy sector is the backbone of global economic revival," said the Minister of Tourism in a press release published by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy on October 8, 2022.
The Bali Roadmap is the result of a discussion process that has been circulated to member countries, international organizations, and interested creative economy parties since June 2022.
The Bali Roadmap has been approved by the Minister of Tourism Sandiaga on Thursday, October 6, 2022, and then adopted in a ministerial-level meeting which will become a legacy for Indonesia in the field of the creative economy in the international world.
The Bali Road Map contains several points, namely how to mainstream the creative economy in the world economy, including the transformation from informal business actors to formal businesses.
Then there are points related to financing that pave the way for creative economy actors to get wider access to funding. There are also marketing points related to the efforts of creative economy actors to be able to adapt using digital technology on the marketing side.
