JAKARTADAILY.ID – The Indonesian Ministry of Tourism is collaborating with the Dutch Government in an effort to expand partnerships in the creative economy.
The signing of the cooperation (MoU) was carried out between the Minister of Tourism Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno and the State Secretary of Education, Culture and Science of the Netherlands Gunay Uslu at the Soesilo Soedarman Hall, Sapta Pesona Building, Thursday, September 15, 2022.
Tourism Minister Sandiaga said the signing of this MoU would encourage wider cooperation between the two countries in various sectors of the creative economy.
Starting from culinary, architecture, design (fashion, product design and interior design), audiovisual (film and music), TV and radio, new media (game development, application, over the top (OTT), digital transformation), and publishing.
The Minister of Tourism will move quickly to follow up on this cooperation by conducting a working group which will initially focus on developing the film, games, and culinary sub-sectors.
"We immediately moved quickly by discussing the potential for follow-up in the fields of films, games, and also culinary.
Breakthroughs in terms of technology where we can make Amsterdam and Jakarta the hubs of Europe and Asia for the development of several initiatives in the creative economy sector," said Sandiaga in a press release published on kemenparekraf.go.id, Thursday, September 15, 2022 .
