JAKARTADAILY.ID – The Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) is committed to involving as many local communities as possible in the MotoGP 2022 which will be held in March.
To this end, ITDC has recruited more than 553 local residents, 215 as cleaners, and 338 as marshalls at the Mandalika Circuit in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.
Mandalika Circuit Managing Director, Bram Subiandoro on Thursday said that his party recruited the Pujut District Youth Organization and local automotive communities. These local workers come from the six villages around Mandalika, namely Kuta, Sengkol, Rembitan, Sukadana, Mertak, and Prabu villages, plus residents from Pujut District.

"In operational activities, we are committed to maximizing the participation of the community around the area. In addition, we are also trying to accommodate and involve as many local residents, entrepreneurs, and MSMEs as possible in activities held in our area," he said.
However, they still follow transparent and accountable procedures. "We apologize if in the process of involving local workers we have not been able to involve all parties," he continued.
ITDC Nusantara Utilities
Meanwhile, to meet the needs needed during the upcoming 2022 MotoGP, ITDC, through its subsidiary ITDC Nusantara Utility, will hold a meeting with a number of parties in order to obtain a mechanism and division of work portions according to the capacity of each party.
"ITDC Nusantara Utility is the coordinator who will recommend the needs of Dorna Sports. Currently, registration for work and involvement in the MotoGP event will begin in early March 2022. For that, at the end of February we will meet with a number of parties and discuss HR needs in more detail," explained Bram.

The meeting in question will be held with the event organizer, village heads, youth representatives, and related associations to discuss the manpower needs and the needs for services needed before the MotoGP event. In addition, it will also discuss and convey the requirements and needs of the 2022 MotoGP.
Associations that want to be involved are expected to make attractive offers, by showing competitive prices, good product quality, compliance with the requirements of Dorna Sports, EO, and ITDC subsidiaries. So that it can be recommended to these parties to be selected as vendors.
Local Government
In order to accommodate the interests of local transportation entrepreneurs, the ITDC Group has also held meetings with local governments. In the meeting held at the Illira Hotel, Praya, Sunday, February 6, the Deputy Regent of Central Lombok, the Head of the NTB Transportation Service, the Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) of the NTB Regional Police (Polda), the Central Lombok Police, and representatives transportation association (APTA NTB) and Angkasa Pura 1 as the supervisor of APTA NTB.
