JAKARTADAILY.ID – A press release published on Thursday by Jasa Marga announced that the Jasa Marga Consortium was announced as the winner of an investment tender for the construction of the 206-kilometer toll road that will connect Bandung, Garut, Tasikmalaya, Ciamis, Banjar, Pangandaran and Cilacap.

Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication and Community Development Group Head Dwimawan Heru explained that in line with the company's long-term plan, Jasa Marga has participated in the tender for the concession of the Gedebage-Tasikmalaya-Cilacap toll road with consortium partners. And, based on the Letter of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Number PB.02.01-Mn/2170 dated December 10, 2021, the Jasa Marga Consortium was declared the winner.
"In this toll road concession, Jasa Marga partners in a consortium, which consists of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (32.5 percent), PT Daya Mulia Turangga Partnership - PT Gama Group - PT Jasa Sarana (27.5 percent), PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (20 percent), PT PP (Persero) Tbk (10 percent), and PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (10 percent)," said Heru.

As the largest toll road developer and operator in Indonesia, Jasa Marga has consistently added toll road concessions. This is in order to create value for shareholders, as well as maintain its position as a market leader in the toll road industry in Indonesia.
Concession 1,809 KM
Heru also added that with the winning of the Gedebage - Tasikmalaya - Cilacap Toll Road Concession auction, the Consortium will carry out the establishment of a Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT) to sign and carry out the obligations in the Toll Road Concession Agreement (PPJT). After the signing of the PPJT, Jasa Marga will have a total concession of 1,809 KM.
"Apart from the addition of this new toll road concession, Jasa Marga and other consortiums are currently participating in the tender for the Patimban Access Toll Road concession and have passed the pre-qualification stage and are preparing to proceed to the bidding stage," concluded Heru.
Jasa Marga is targeting to increase the acquisition of new toll roads that have favorable financial feasibility, while maintaining the Company's financial condition, in order to support the acceleration of the Government's infrastructure development and contribute to the improvement of the Indonesian economy.
