JAKARTADAILY.ID – Microsoft founder Bill Gates expressed his support for the health system transformation currently underway in Indonesia.
The billionaire made this statement during a meeting with the Minister of Health Budi G. Sadikin on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, in the 77th UNGA series and the Global Fund Replenishment Conference in New York, United States.
Minister of Health Budi invited Bill Gates to visit Indonesia to see the development progress of the health industry in Indonesia.

Bill Gates said that he supports President Joko Widodo and the Government of Indonesia in the health sector.
Various parties at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) are coordinating with the Indonesian Ministry of Health to support various targets in the health development sector in the country.
''The existing support includes strengthening primary services based on the use of information technology and the latest health technology,'' said Minister of Health Budi reported by kemkes.go.id, Monday, September 26, 2022.
Minister of Health Budi Sadikin explained the various healthcarr system transformation agendas that are currently taking place in Indonesia, as well as concrete targets that have been set during the meeting with Bill Gates.

The Minister of Health explained the six pillars of health transformation carried out by Indonesia.
The first pillar is primary services, the second pillar is the transformation of hospital referral services, the third pillar is the transformation of the health resilience system, the fourth pillar is the transformation of the health financing system, the fifth pillar is health human resources, and the sixth pillar is transformation. Health technology, this is related to information technology and biotechnology.
In the transformation of primary services, especially the transformation of information technology, the real action that is currently being carried out is the development of the PeduliLindung application into a citizen health app.

Currently PeduliLindung is equipped with new features, including a health resume in accordance with the approval, including a history of vaccines both at home and abroad to make it easier to use for foreign citizens.
