JAKARTADAILY.ID – The Jakarta Health Agency is offering booster vaccinations at 300 locations spread around the capital of Indonesia with Sinovac, AstraZeneca, and Pfizer vaccine types since Wednesday, July 20, 2022.

For Jakartan citizens who are seeking to get vaccine boosters, they can apply via the PeduliLindungi app to choose to get vaccinated in 300 locations that are spread across government offices, such as the Jakarta City Hall, mayoral offices, parks, shopping centers, and other public space facilities.

Special for Jakmania, or a group of avid fans of the Persija Jakarta soccer club, the Jakarta provincial government urged they must take the vaccine booster, as only those who have received vaccine booster are allowed to attend large events or events attended by more than 1,000 people.

This includes stadiums, large-scale concerts, etcetera.

Ngabila Salama, the Jakarta Health Agency's Epidemiology and Immunization Surveillance Division Head, said Jakmania and people aged 18 more are urged to get the vaccine booster to help prevent any COVID-19 disease infection.

She said they can also register and chose the nearest vaccination location via the JAKI app, an application made by the provincial government for Jakarta residents (those who have ID cards from Jakarta).

"Those who want to get booster vaccine must have a vaccine ticket in the PeduliLindungi app and the minimum time interval after taking the second dose of vaccine is three months," she said on Thursday, July 21, 2022, as quoted by BeritaJakarta.id, the official Jakarta provincial government's news distribution platform.

She said those who plan to undertake domestic and international flights or travel must also get injected with a vaccine booster.

She said research has shown that it has been effective to prevent the risk of exposure to COVID-19.

"Based on data, residents aged over 40 with comorbidities and have not received a booster vaccine are most at high risk when exposed to COVID-19," she said.

Here are some locations that offer vaccine boosters in Jakarta and their schedules:
