The AGLP is a leadership development program for senior leaders from the public and private sectors in the ASEAN region, which has been designed and delivered in collaboration with a selected group of global business schools in the UK, China and the US.
"We are very excited to collaborate with IESE in launching the spring edition of our flagship ASEAN Global Leadership Program (AGLP) in May 2023," explained Daniel Wong, the Chairman and Partner of SRW&Co.
"The 2023 spring edition is the 21st edition of our AGLP since its inception in 2009. IESE is consistently ranked among the top three business schools in the world for executive education. So we feel very privileged to forge a partnership with IESE in designing and delivering this edition of the AGLP."
Daniel Wong also said, "The partnership is a showcase of the combined strength of our experiences and insights gained from the past AGLP editions in complimenting the global expertise of IESE in executive education. We are confident we will be able to deliver a meaningful and enjoyable learning experience for the AGLP participants in our spring edition next year."
Shaping the future with inspiring leadership
Prof. Moscoso added, “At IESE, we are fully aware of the importance of the Asia Pacific Region for the global economy. That´s why we are fully committed to supporting current and future leaders in the region by developing their leadership skills – one of the main objectives of this program.”
For this edition, the overarching theme will be Shaping the Future with Inspiring Leadership, which will emphasize four key areas: globalization, innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
Prof. Anneloes Raes, a full Professor in the Department of Managing People in Organizations at IESE Business School and the Academic Director of the AGLP-IESE edition commented: "We focus on these topics in a way that clearly highlights what is going on in the world today. Expect cutting-edge insights based not only on the latest research findings and thought leadership from my colleagues and I, but also from the way that we are seeing and living these issues on the ground in companies."
She added, “We have created a program that will bring participants to some of the most fantastic places that Barcelona has to offer. One highlight is a visit to the Sagrada Familia Church, famously designed by Gaudi. Another is a visit to the stadium of the soccer club FC Barcelona, where we will explore the topic of High Performance Teams in a way that we could never do if we just stayed in the classroom.”
