JAKARTADAILY.ID – The collaboration between the Indonesian-French governments and the Schneider Electric Foundation in the education sector has existed for the past five years.
In the span of five years, this comprehensive public-private collaboration has succeeded in making a real contribution to the education sector in Indonesia.
These achievements include the construction of the Center of Excellence (CoE) in the fields of Electricity, Industrial Automation, and Renewable Energy, revitalizing laboratory facilities for 125 SMKs throughout Indonesia, as well as training 635 certified SMK teachers and laboratory heads.
It is recorded that more than 12,500 SMK students have received knowledge transfer from these certified educators.
The Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, Nadiem Anwar Makarim, expressed his appreciation for the commitment of all parties in realizing all cooperation targets even in the midst of an unexpected pandemic.
"We see how the effort and persistence of the organizers are to adapt quickly so that teaching and training can continue," he said at the inauguration of one of the laboratory facility revitalization projects located at SMK Negeri 1 Cikarang Selatan, Thursday, June 2, 2022.

Nadiem said he was proud of the enthusiasm of the training participants to absorb all the knowledge given even though the learning had to be done in a hybrid way.
“We hope that the knowledge they absorb is shared back with their students so that it will be useful for their future. Of course, these traits and characters need to be developed and transmitted more widely," he said.
The inauguration of the laboratory facility revitalization project for SMK Negeri 1 Cikarang Selatan is also a celebration event for the Indonesian-French government collaboration & Schneider Electric Foundation which has been going on since 2017.
